yeah that's exactly what's happening, actually. he's sitting somewhere near-ish the pyre, knees pulled up to his chest, emotions dulled.]

[ once again... ashlyn has no idea how to be comforting!! so she just sits down next to him.

Hey, Mathis. Sorry about... [ well. a pointed glance over towards the bulletin board since they're not that far from it. ]

Hopefully it won't get as chaotic as it usually does. One of the mysteries is kind of already solved.

But I doubt many people want to put her through Sunday's ritual. Most people will probably want to find someone else to take that on.
