Thing is, all that healing still comes from his life force. And when we talked about what happened back home -- he said there was an attack, so he doesn't heal as fast anymore. He can get hangovers now and he gets tired more easily. 'Course, he doesn't heal faster than normal here, but... I think whatever's suppressing our abilities -- it's not stopping the rest -- the consequences.
...so you think that it's because of- his injuries? His body attempting to pull from it, but failing to repair anything?

I'll... ask the overseers a few things. Reasonably, I should already be dead from my body's instability, but maybe they'll be able to tell me more about exactly why I'm not. Whether something like those consequences not being suppressed could be the case for Kanda.
