but after some time, it looks like she's returned to the graveyard, looking silently out at where the battle was just fought. and finally, she speaks. ]

They didn't leave any bodies, did they.

I... haven't seen any sign that they did...

[a little shake of his head.]

I wonder if that's a part of... the rituals.

As in, the bodies themselves are consumed for the rituals?

... That seems plausible.

There could still be... some sort of marker left for them, though. Even if there wasn't anything left behind.

I was talking to Camille earlier, about seeing if we can make grave markers for them. Just so there's a place for people to pay respects.

I think that would be... a little nicer, too. To... have something we made for them, and not just have them buried in this cemetery.
