That's good, I was a bit curious about you two suddenly putting up a survey like that...

We wanted to at least... try to include things others wanted. E-even if our options were a little limited.

Remind me again, you know how to cook?

N-not much... I can help in the kitchen, though, and Lavi and Monsieur Gale both offered to show us.

[the real threat is that mathis learned to help from someone who should NOT be allowed to fucking cook]

[ This is such a chaotic group to put in the kitchen together. Daan has heard mild kitchen stories about Gale also. Mostly him having a fit of some kind apparently. ]

Yes. Though it's only the two of us... but he would be the head of staff, regardless.

If there's only one person on the job, I guess they're effectively their own boss.

What's he like then?

He's... been very protective of me for some time, now. I'm the younger of us, s-so we were raised together when we were smaller, and he always helped care for me.

You're of similar age? Well actually, I guess you'd have to be with circumstances considered.

[ The max age gap they could have is what, 5 years? 6 if he's on his deathbed? ]

O-oh... yes, he's- nineteen? He doesn't intend to become a Reliver, either.

Under normal circumstances, I'd almost consider that something like a big sibling more than a caretaker and butler besides...

Well, yes... I always sort of... saw him as another brother of mine, despite our positions.

That's nice. Even if it's not quite, it's good to have someone who's like family around you.
