Oh-- Monsieur Gale told me that if it turned out to be possible, he would take me as an apprentice...
[that one sticks out.]
And if he won't put it as directly to you... when I asked Scien whether he had made any friends here, his only answer was you.
[he knows some of how scien is which means he really could go either way on having declared it or just never mentioned it, probably...]
I think... mm. I don't know whether you could see... our discussion to determine who would stay either, but Gale has most likely told you about it already...
also, there's a second where she just sort of like stalls because that gets her? scien called her his friend... there's a burst of something that's soft and warm and happy about it. silence, as she soaks that in, and then:]
He hasn't told me a lot, other than you all voted, I suppose.
[aaaa... those warm and happy feelings are mirrored with a little smile. what he wants the most now, this near to the end, is for everyone he loves and cares about to be happy; feeling that from her helps.
it grows subdued when he thinks about the vote, though, and he tries to stifle his feelings.]
We... we did. Um, a couple of us volunteered to stay, several of us didn't mind either way, and we finally ended up putting the decision to a vote. So that's... how we ended up deciding it.

He'd better, or I'm going to knock him out myself. Anyway. I will, as best I'm able. Got to be in shape for the frontlines.
no subject
[a little sigh, at that. sciennnn.]
I'll be certain that I'm in good shape for it, too.
no subject
So what'd I miss on the other side?
no subject
[he frowns, brow furrowing.]
I don't believe that you missed very much that you wouldn't have seen from here, after you died? At least, that I'm aware of.
