But I don't know if that means we're supposed to use them for that, or if we've taken them from the cultists or what.

Thanks. I don't know if we can learn much more from the items themselves just yet—I asked the overseers and someone here with a power that lets them analyze items and that's all we got.

But we need to hold onto them.

Speaking of powers, I'm not going to be able to use mine tomorrow, but do we need some sort of... cue to tell each other we're thinking about using the other one? So that we don't have to be seen talking to each other to do it?

It couldn't hurt. We could use sign language, as long as it's something subtle...? And if it's not too obvious that we're signing to each other.

Or some other kind of visual cue, maybe? So long as it isn't something that we already often do, or we'd get confused...

Maybe something easy. Like tucking your hair behind your ear or something. As long as you can be sure you won't do it on accident.

I doubt that I would... I don't normally touch it very much, so I think that would be safe for me.

All right. Then, that can be used for a signal to suggest it when we're certain we're paying attention to each other, and nothing in return counts for disagreement? I'll try to stay in eyesight, unless one of us leaves to investigate.

Sounds good. Just do the same motion back for agreement, I guess. I doubt anyone will think much of it.

Even if they do, it makes sense to have things you'd want to communicate without saying so... especially when people get curious about whispering things. It's easy to play off without anyone knowing what we wanted to say.

The harder part is getting the information out there inconspicuously once we have it.
